It was the third time Glenwood and Rochester had met on the softball diamond this season and it went just like the past two games. The Titans get a pair of RBI's from Sami Long and sneak past the Rockets yet again.
The Titans got on the board in the first inning on a Long sacrifice fly to make it 1-0. Rochester would answer in the third. Hannah Yattoni roped a single to center to score Nicole Robinson and tie the game at 1-1.
It would stay that way until the 6th. Glenwood's Peyton Cole reached base on an infield single, advanced to second on a Madi Torry sacrfice bunt, and came home on Long's double off the top of the fence in left centerfield.
Bri Graham was able to handle the rest, stranding the tie run on first to end the game.
Glenwood moves on to their own sectional where they'll square off against Rantoul on Tuesday at 4:30pm.
