Junior Ryan Nevill hit a corner three with just seconds to go in overtime to give Williamsville a 47-46 win over Athens in overtime for a big Sangamo road victory.
Drayton Davis, who had 13 for Athens, got a look at the buzzer but it sailed just long. Nic Laird led the Warriors with 16 points. Casey Tuttle had 11 to lead the Bullets, while Scott O’Conner had 10 and Joseph Mitchell had 9.
Williamsville will travel to Pleasant Plains on Friday, while Athens hosts New Berlin.
