Renee Abernathy and Bailey Morrow’s heroics couldn’t complete the comeback against QND on Wednesday night. After a back and forth first set that saw Quincy inching out a 28-26 win, the second set was Quincy early and often, as they jumped out to a 21-19 lead. The Cyclones fought back but couldn’t force a third set, falling 25-20 as QND took the match in straight sets.
