In his fifth season as the boys head soccer coach, Evan Philpott has taken Jacksonville to new heights. Philpott has already guided Jacksonville to the school’s first sectional title, first super sectional crown and the program’s first trip to the state tournament. What’s special about this ride, is that Philpott starred on the pitch as a Jacksonville Crimson. Now, he hopes to bring a state championship back to his home town.
