UIS announced Bill Walker as the new men's basketball head coach on Thursday.  He brings over 25 years of experience at a variety of levels and promises an exciting style of play.

SHG built an 8-4 lead, but the Titans responded with a huge 5th inning to take the lead and went on to beat the Cyclones 17-10.  Glenwood is now 10-0 in CS8 play.

The Cycs broke a scoreless tie in the 5th when Cole Daily tripled to left center scoring Ryne Elvers.  They'd tack on 5 more and beat the Titans 6-0 to improve to 16-1 on the season.

Lanphier senior all-state guard Larry Austin Jr. was released from his letter of intent from the University Of Tennessee on Wednesday and will re-evaluate his college choices.
