Normal U High dominated in their first CS8 Girls Cross Country Championship on Saturday. Freshman Lyndsey Wolters took first place with a time of 18:29. Springfield’s Gabby Wood and Southeast’s Sydney Huffman finished second and third with times of 19:05 and 19:18, respectively. Normal U High also took the team race with 39 points. Glenwood and Springfield placed second and third with 61 and 63.
