The Alton Marquette Explorers will play in a 2A Beardstown sectional final on Friday after a 56-45 over Pleasant Plains on Tuesday night. Jaden Rochester led the way for Marquette with 20 points. Liam Hatfield and Cooper Schallenberg both scored 13 for Pleasant Plains. The Explorers await the winner of Auburn and Williamsville.
