The Pleasant Plains bats came alive in the third inning, scoring nine runs on their way to a 12-2 win over PORTA in Sangamo conference baseball on Thursday afternoon. The Cardinals improve to 4-0 in conference and host Springfield High for a 6:30 pm first pitch on Friday.
