Sacred Heart-Griffin and Heartland baseball alum Sam Antonacci made his first appearance in the big leagues for the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. He started at second base where he flashed the leather a few times, including a diving stop with the infield playing up. He went 1-3 at the plate with a single, walk and a run scored on a wild pitch in the 9th inning. The White Sox fell the Rays 8-3 and will close their series with Tampa on Thursday at 1:10.
