In a true pitchers duel, the Glenwood freshman got enough run support for the win. Irie Lohrenz threw a one hit shutout, allowing just two base runners in a 3-0 win over Springfield High. Mia Volpert pitched an excellent game for the Senators, just up just one earned run and producing the Senators only hit in the sixth inning. Glenwood will host Springfield on Wednesday looking for their second straight perfect CS8 season, first pitch set for 4:30 pm.
