Southeast built a big lead in the third quarter scoring inside with Jaylene Simmons and Seth Doss and then held on late for a 53-49 win in the 3A Rochester regional semifinal. Simmons had 20 points, Dominick Hobbs had 16 for the Spartans. Southeast will play SHG on Friday at Rochester for the 3A regional title.
