Cole Brewer (Williamsville Golf) The Bullets hosted the Sangamo Boys Golf Meet at The Rail on Wednesday and a Bullet took home medalist honors that day. Brewer finished with a meet best 74 and led Williamsville to a second place finish. Check out some of the highlights of the meet HERE.

Ruth Becker (Springfield High Volleyball) The Senators are City champs! Springfield High took a 25-23, 25-13 victory over SHG at Duey Gym on Thursday night. Becker finished the night with 13 kills and 11 digs, both of which were team highs. We have highlights of the Senators win HERE.

Colton Barr (Jacksonville Golf) The Central State Eight Boys Golf Meet came down to a playoff hole after a tie. The winner of that playoff was the Jacksonville sophomore Barr. He finished with a 72 from The Links. See highlights from the beginning of the meet HERE.

Colin Johannes (Sacred Heart Griffin Football) After five weeks of high school football the Cyclones are the only remaining unbeaten team in the CS8 after a 52-0 win against MacArthur. Johannes had two interceptions in the first quarter both were turned into points thanks to the SHG offense. See those picks HERE.

Charlotte Beatty (Rochester Volleyball) The Rockets handed QND their second loss of the season on Saturday in three sets, 22-25, 25-15, 25-22. Beatty was a big part of the victory picking up aces, assists and kills throughout including a big kill in the second set to force a third. Highlights of the Rochester win HERE.

Brayden Paul (Glenwood Boys Soccer) The Titans stay unbeaten in the Central State Eight with a 3-0 victory over Rochester on Tuesday. Not only did Paul score one of Glenwood’s three goals he also was in control of the midfield throughout the game and is a vocal leader of the team. See the highlights of the victory HERE.

Jake Baldin (Springfield High Golf) At the Sangamon County Meet on Saturday Baldin helped lead the Senators to a 1st place finish while also earning medalists honors. He shot a career best 67 with six birdies, one bogey and 11 pars.

Colin Ripperda (Williamsville Football) Williamsville made the short trip to Athens Friday night and took home a 41-12 win. Ripperda put up stats on both sides of the ball. He rushed for 31 yards and one touchdown along with a two-point conversion. On the defensive side, he had 17 total tackles including 8 solo tackles along with a sack and a forced fumble. Alaina Ervin (Pleasant Plains Golf) On Thursday it was the girls turn for the Sangamo conference meet. Ervin won medalist honors at the meet with a 79. Highlights from Edgewood Golf Club HERE.

Ian Lichtenberger (Rochester Football) Rochester picked up a big win at home against Glenwood on Friday night. Lichtenberger had two of the Rockets four touchdowns in the 27-14 win with 108 rushing yards on 16 carries. Highlights of the game HERE.
