Parker Detmers struck out 14 and gave up one hit and one walk in a complete game win to power Glenwood to a 2-1 victory over Washington in the 3A state semifinal on Friday morning. Will Plattner had a RBI triple and Eli Curtis drove in the other run for the Titans in the fifth inning. Glenwood plays the winner of Crystal Lake South and Nazareth Academy at 11:30 on Saturday for a state title.
