The New Berlin Pretzels traveled to Gillespie to take on the Miners on Monday night for a 2A regional championship. Tied 1-1 in the bottom of the seventh Gavin Griffith walked it off for Gillespie to give them the 2-1 victory. They now play Maroa Forsyth in a sectional semifinal on Thursday in Pleasant Plains. New Berlin finished the season 21-11-1.
