Once Daleny Chumbley had a four run cushion to work with on the mound, the Eastern Illinois bound pitcher settled in and felt very comfortable. Chumbley only gave up two hits to the Cyclones and picked up the win as Tri-City beat Sacred Heart Griffin 5-1 to claim the 2A SHG regional championship. Kenzi Chandler’s three run double in the first was the big hit of the day. Emmorie Brown and Kamryn Sturdy added RBIs for the Tornadoes, who will play QND on Tuesday in the Athens sectional.
