They needed an extra 21 hours to finally claim their spot in Friday’s sectional championship but the Cyclones got it done. Ava Hancock scored a goal off a corner kick scramble to give SHG a 1-0 double overtime win in the 1A Quincy sectional semifinal that was played at Illinois College. The game started Tuesday in Quincy but was postponed due to weather, tied at 0 after regulation. You can find highlights of that here.
