Trinity In Taylorville Prime Time Performer: March 28-April 2

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

You can vote once every 12 hours until the polls close on Friday at 5 p.m.

Cru Erickson (Glenwood Baseball) Glenwood added another CS8 victory to their record with a win on Tuesday against Springfield High. Erickson had two hits and two RBIs in the 6-4 victory. See the highlights of the Glenwood victory HERE.

Grayson Mirabile (Williamsville Girls Soccer) The Bullets picked up a victory over Pana on a cold, rainy Saturday morning. Mirabile continued where she left off last season and led Williamsville with four goals and two assists in the 6-0 win. You can see the first half highlights of the game HERE.

Seth Impson (Springfield High Baseball) Springfield High split their series with Glenwood last week with a 5-0 victory on Friday night in Chatham. The Senators were led by Impson on the mound. He threw seven innings allowing just two hits and striking out seven. He also scored a run in the win. Highlights of the Senators win HERE.

Kendall Sims (Pleasant Plains Girls Soccer) Pleasant Plains took home a victory after traveling to Virden to take on North Mac in their first Sangamo matchup of the season. Sims scored a team high two goals in the 7-1 victory. Check out her goals and more HERE.

Gavin Smith (Mt Pulaski Baseball) We got our first look at the Hilltoppers on Friday night as they beat Clinton 11-1. Mt Pulaski was led by Smith with two hits and three RBIs plus he scored a run in the win. You can see the highlights HERE.

Qwinsuan Anderson (Glenwood Track and Field) The Titans competed at the SHS Open at Memorial Stadium on Saturday. The senior picked up two win at the event. This first was in the 100 meter with a time of 11.35 while the second came in the 4×400 relay with a time of 3:37.95. Check out all the highlights of the SHS Open HERE.

Garrett Meyer (Jacksonville Baseball) The Crimsons picked up a 13-1 victory over Rochester on a cold, windy Tuesday afternoon last week. In the victory Meyer hit a three run homer and finished with two hits and four RBIS. See the highlights of that victory HERE.

Maddie Roberts (Williamsville Softball) The Bullets picked up a big win over U-High on Monday. We’ve seen her have big games on the basketball court but in the 13-4 victory. In five at bats Roberts finished with four hits and five RBIs while scoring three runs. Her hits finished a single shy of a cycles with two homers, a triple and a double.

Alex Budd (Tri-City Baseball) The Tornadoes took on Cerro Gordo on Tuesday and had another impressive early season pitching performance. Budd was perfect in four innings of work with seven strikeouts as Tri-City won 21-0.

Riley Burney (Edinburg/South Fork Softball) Burney has had an impressive start to her season the last few weeks. She has pitched two shutouts and allowed just one earned run in 16 innings while striking out 39 over three games. At the plate she has seven hits and six RBIs over the three games.

Austin Robinson (Lanphier Track and Field) The Lions competed at the SHS Open on Saturday. In the 110m hurdles Robinson blew away the field with the win. He finished with a time of 15.59 a pull second more then the next finisher. Robinson also finished fourth in shot put with a throw of 13.11 meters. Check out all the highlights of the SHS Open HERE.

Jordan Closs (Tri-City Softball) Another win for the Tornadoes as TCSV beat Okaw Valley 10-0 on Friday in six innings. Closs pitched a perfect game while picking up 15 strikeouts along the way. She also had three hits and one RBI in the victory.

Braden White (Springfield High Track and Field) The Senators hosted the SHS Open at Memorial Stadium this weekend. The senior White picked up a win in the 300m hurdles with a time of 43.85 seconds.
