Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

Drew Davis (Glenwood Wrestling) Glenwood has a state champ! The sophomore won the 2A 106 pound state title on Saturday at the State Farm Center. Davis finished the season with a perfect record after a 5-2 decision in the title match. Check out the highlights and hear from Davis after the win HERE.

Anthony “Joey” Ruzic (Auburn Wrestling) The 1A 113 pound state title now belongs to Ruzic as the Trojan picked up a 8-2 decision for the victory in Champaign. The victory in the title match gave the sophomore a perfect record this season. We have highlights and talked to Ruzic after the win HERE.

Emma Dixon (Rochester Girls Basketball) The Rockets picked up a regional championship at home on Friday night with a win over Southeast. Dixon led the team with 10 points in the victory. In the regional semifinal she scored 29 against Mt Zion. Rochester moves onto the Lincoln sectional starting this Tuesday. Highlights of the regional semifinal HERE and the regional final HERE.

Alexis Wade (Mt. Pulaski Girls Basketball) A regional championship made the bus trip back to Mt Pualski after the Hilltoppers won the Cerro Gordo regional 51-39 over the hosts. Wade had 22 points in the victory. Mt Pulaski travels to the Farmer City sectional starting Tuesday. Some highlights of the victory HERE.

Artez Hanson (Springfield High Boys Basketball) The Senators kicked off the postseason with a win over Rochester on Saturday in a regional quarterfinal game. Hanson led Springfield High with 16 points in the win including four 3s. Highlights of the win HERE.

Amaria Pender (MacArthur Girls Basketball) MacArthur got a win over Springfield High on Friday for a regional title in Jacksonville. The senior led the team, just like she has many time this year, with 20 points in the win. The Generals take on Lincoln in the Lincoln sectional on Tuesday. Check out the victory HERE.

Will Turk (Glenwood Swimming) Turk will be competing in three events at state swimming this weekend. He won the 500 yard freestyle and 100 yard breaststroke at the sectional meet while breaking his own school record in the breaststroke. He was also a part of the state qualifying 400 yard freestyle relay.

Cooper Schallenberg (Pleasant Plains Boys Basketball) The Cardinals wrapped up the Sangamo Conference title this week. On Tuesday in a Sangamon County Tournament championship rematch with New Berlin the freshman led the way with 14 points. Highlights HERE.

Britni Walters (Williamsville Girls Basketball) The Bullets picked up a big win in the regional semifinal on Tuesday night against SHG. Walters scored 11 points in the victory and had big bucket in the first half to keep the Bullets in the game. Highlight of the comeback victory HERE.

Caden Clark (SHG Hockey) The Cyclones won the LLHH conference title with a 4-0 victory over the Decatur Flames last Monday. Clack posted a shutout in goal with 27 saves. You can see highlights of the game HERE.

Charlie Batton (Glenwood Diving) Another Titan is heading to state swimming after picking up a victory at the Edwardsville Sectional. Batton won the 1 meter diving event to qualify for state.
