Pleasant Plains moved to 7-1 in the Sangamo conference with a 43-33 win over New Berlin to clinch at least a share of the title. Athens has two conference losses and the Cardinals travel to Riverton on Thursday night for their final Sangamo game. Pleasant Plains’ leading scorer this season, Zach Powell, did not play against the Pretzels. Freshman Cooper Schallenberg led the way with 14 points, while Nick Sabo added ten. Lucas Bixby led the Pretzels with ten.
