Alfie Hoffman scored three minutes into the contest and Drew Herman added another goal before half to power Springfield High to a 2-0 win over Jacksonville on Tuesday evening in the CS8 soccer tournament quarterfinals. Xander Eberding picked up the shutout. Springfield High will travel to U-High for a 4:30 semifinal on Thursday.
