Carter Formea took a corner kick with 26 minutes to play and placed it perfectly back post where it bounced off the bar, off a defender and into the back of the net for the game’s only goal. Springfield High beat Glenwood 1-0 to earn the three seed in the CS8 tourney next week as Xander Eberding recorded the shutout in goal for the Senators.
