Springfield had a tough time getting going as MacArthur, led by QB Brylan Phillips, jumped to a 14-0 lead in the second quarter. Rashad Rochelle gave SHS a spark right before the half with a 51 yard TD run to make it 14-7 Generals leading at halftime. Springfield Would score three touchdowns in the third quarter to take a 27-13 lead over Mac. This would be the final as the Senators would go on to win 27-13. Mitchell Logan added two receiving TDs and Jeffery Elms had one rushing for SHS.
