The Senators hosted Pleasant Plains Saturday afternoon as they celebrated their seniors. Both teams stayed close throughout the game before Springfield started pulling away late third. The Cardinals tried to come back late in the fourth but it wasn’t enough as Springfield High went on to win 44-42. Virtuous Komolafe had 19 for the Senators while Asya Smith lead the Cardinals with 16.
