When Reid Detmers committed to Louisville before transferring to Glenwood High School for his senior season, people in central Illinois knew he was going to be something special. Baseball fans in Nokomis knew it far before then. On Wednesday night when Major League Baseball holds their 2020 draft, Detmers is projected to be a top ten pick.
