Southeast and Springfield High traded buckets in the first half, with the Senators holding a 34-30 lead after two. From there, Springfield High exploded in the third quarter, leading by as many as 16 as Shane Miller led the charge with a game-high 26 points. The Senators would go on to defeat Southeast 71-56 in the regional semifinals, setting up a regional championship matchup with MacArthur Friday night. James Dent and Kamran Bank had 20 apiece for Southeast in the loss.
