Summer Stoewer hit a few key 3-pointers to help regain the lead for Illinois Central in the second half against Lincoln Land, but it was her 5-6 shooting at the free throw line in the final minute of the game that was crucial for the Cougars. Her clutch shooting at the line helped #13 Illinois Central hold on for a 70-66 win at Cass Gymnasium Saturday afternoon.
Stoewer finished with a game-high 23 points for the Cougars, as Kat Clark had 18 for Lincoln Land.
