Normal U-High felt like they have overlooked in the CS8 so tonight they made a statement, with a 45-37 win over first place Lanphier to grab a share of first place in the CS8. Alex Wood scored 12 points (including his 1000th career point) to lead the Pioneers but it was the U-High defense that held Lanphier to 21% shooting thanks to 21 turnovers.
6’8″ Junior KJ Debrick had a game high 15 points and 10 rebounds but was in foul trouble throughout the first half and early second half.
Lanphier falls to 11-5 overall and 6-1 in the CS8 while U-High goes to 11-5 overall and 6-1 in the CS8.
