Decatur Eisenhower took the lead over Springfield Southeast midway through the first quarter and never looked back posting a 56-47 CS8 home win over the Spartans. Eisenhower took a five point lead after one quarter and extended it to 10 at the half, 32-22. Led by junior R.J Walker and Sophomore Brylan Phillips, the Panthers never relinquished the lead in the second half as the Panthers forced Southeast into numerous turnovers that would be the Spartans’ undoing.
