After a hard-fought scoreless tie at the half in Bloomington, Morton capitalized on a pair of good bounces as senior Adam Pollard put away back to back putbacks in the early part of the second half to give the Potters a 2-0 lead. Ben Huston answered with a goal a few moments later, but the Senators couldn’t beat Sox Short a second time. Morton’s 2-1 win sends them to the Chatham Supersectional on Tuesday.
