Effingham held Taylorville to just one touchdown on their way to a 48-6 win over the Tornadoes to stay unbeaten in Week Seven. The Flaming Hearts, led by quarterback Nathan Shakelford were up 21-6 at the half and rolled the second half to stay undefeated, setting up the Week Eight matchup in the Apollo between Mt. Zion and Effingham. Taylorville will travel to Charleston in Week Eight looking for their sixth win of the season.
