SHG opened the CS8 season in dramatic fashion with a golden goal win over rival U-High. The Cyclones scored first with a Parker Boatman goal. That would be the halftime score until Camden Brown would knock home a PK to tie things at one.
Joe Sisusa and Jared Cornejo would add goals for each SHG and U-High as we would finish regulation 2-2. SHG would come up big with 39 seconds left as freshman Kyle Ward would send a deep chip to the back of the net for the 3-2 win.
