Greg Zellers highlighted the day for Sangamo team as his 55-09.25 was enough to make him a state champion in the shot put. Another strong day saw Tristen Tewes medal twice to become the all time most medaled athlete in Plains’ track history. The Cardinals finished fifth as a team as other Sangamo schools also saw big time individual performances.
