The SHG vs. Springfield High sectional soccer title lived up to the hype. Maria Jorquera got things started with a goal barely two minutes into the game, Faith Washko restored the tie at the start of the second half, giving us overtime soccer between two evenly matched squads. Ultimately, it was Shoosh coming up clutch again, scoring with eight minutes left in the second overtime to give Springfield High the lead for good.
The Senators now await the winner of Glenwood and Troy Triad for the Chatham Supersectional.
