Faith Washko’s birthday plans consisted of scoring two goals and keeping the SHG soccer season alive. The junior Cyclone goal scoring sensation scored two goals in a matter of eight minutes to lift SHG to a 2-1 win over Mahomet-Seymour on Tuesday night in the 2A Rochester sectional semifinal.
Cayla Koerner scored the game’s first goal in the 3rd minute for the Bulldogs.
SHG will play Springfield High at Rochester on Saturday at 11 a.m. for the sectional championship.
