In a back and forth baseball game that saw multiple lead changes, it was Brock Reid’s solo home run (the first of his career) that ended up being the finishing stroke for the Bluejays. In a wild game that contained a controversial foul call in the bottom of the seventh, PORTA prevailed for a 4-3 win as they upset top-seeded Williamsville. PORTA awaits the winner of Athens and Beardstown for Saturday’s Williamsville Regional Championship.
