Williamsville was looking to spoil PORTA’s perfect Sangamo record as the Bullets traveled to take on the Bluejays. With a win, Williamsville would create a three way tie in the conference between Maroa-Forsyth, PORTA and themselves.
It was all Bullets early as they would take a 1-0 lead after the first inning and a 2-0 after the top of the second. PORTA would respond in the bottom of the second with a run and tie the game in the third at 2-2.
The Bluejays’ bats would get hot in the sixth inning where they would net three runs to take a 5-2 lead. The Bullets would get one run back in the seventh but it was not enough as PORTA got the 5-3 win over Williamsville.
