Auburn senior pitcher Cassidy Filipiak battled through a serious health scare two years ago when she believed she wouldn’t make it to her next homecoming, let alone be able to play softball again. Now she has plans to attend college and play at the next level after making the decision to live her life her way instead of letting her disease rule her life.
