Reed Walks It Off For The Loggers! Lincoln Land Pushes Win Streak To Nine With Sweep Of Vincennes

Jayden Reed had a RBI double in the third and came through clutch with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 11th to win game one of the doubleheader for the Lincoln Land Loggers. Reed and the Loggers beat Vincennes 3-2 in 11 and 3-0 in seven on Saturday afternoon to push their win streak to nine.

T.J. Painter got the win for the Loggers on the mound, going five innings of hitless baseball in relief of Adam Deal who went six innings and gave up two runs and struck out six. Jared Viele had the other RBI for the Loggers in the third.

Austin Troemper pitched a complete game shutout in game two as the Loggers won 3-0 in seven innings. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday starting at noon.
