Parker Mathieson led off with a solo home run and Nate Hardman helped his own cause with a RBI double in the top of the first and U-High never looked back, beating SHG 5-1 on Tuesday afternoon.
Hardman got the win on the mound, going five innings while MacCallan Conklin pitched two innings in relief. Paul Africano, Drew Ziebarth and Karson Bonaparte added RBI knocks for the Pioneers, who stay perfect in CS8 play.
