Terrence Hargrove Jr had 22 points and the East St Louis Flyers survived a crazy ending to beat Southeast 56-52 in the 3A Springfield super sectional on Tuesday night.
A tie game at 52 with 20 seconds left and the Flyers got a steal and Travion Jones scored a breakaway layup to put the Flyers on top.
Southeast was led by Stepheon Sims with 12 points, James Dent with 11 and Terrion Murdix with 9 points.
