Much like their game earlier this season, Plains and PORTA had a very competitive matchup as they faced off for a regional title in Pittsfield.
The Cardinals would take a 17-13 lead at the half and eventually lead as much as eight in the third quarter. The Bluejays would hit multiply threes to slow the Plains run including a Brayden Pettit Buzzer beater that closed the Plains lead to 7 heading into the fourth quarter 33-26.
Plains would finish strong in the fourth and pull away with free throws as the Cardinals would win the regional title 50-34. With the win, Plains in headed to the Riverton sectional next week.
