For the first time since 1995, the PORTA Bluejays girls basketball team are regional champions. The Bluejays took a ten point lead in the third quarter against Williamsville, only to see Lilly Doneghue bring the Bullets back within two. But with under a minute remaining leading by two, PORTA knocked down just enough free throw to squeak out a 38-35 win.

Kassidy Kirchner and Isabel Hudspeth led the way for PORTA with 11 points each, while Lexy Henrikson led all scorers with 15 points as Doneghue added 13.
