The Prairie Stars picked up a school record seven consecutive wins as they took down Lincoln Christian at home. Garrett Aeilts led the Red Lions to 58% shooting from behind the arc in the first half as Lincoln Christian only trailed 50-45 headed into the half.
The Prairie Stars would take care of business the rest of the game thanks to 20 point games from Gilwan Nelson and Vince Walker. Collin Stallworth dropped another 11 to help UIS get the 101-77 win over the Red Lions. UIS opens conference play this Saturday against McKendree at home.
