Auburn was looking to take away Caroline Jachino on the offensive end so Emily Long stepped up and knocked down shots, scoring 16 points to lead the way for the Cardinals as Pleasant Plains beat the Trojans 39-25 in a Sangamo showdown on Thursday evening.
Nicole Weaver had 12 points for the Trojans, but Long led the Cardinals offense as Anna Kanllakan and Jachino each added six.
