Carson Reese came through clutch in the season opener for the Pretzels, scoring the game winning layup as time expired as New Berlin beat Lincolnwood 40-38 in the nightcap of the first day of the Gene Bergschneider Turkey tournament.
Lincolnwood led by four late in the fourth, but got the ball near midcourt with 3.3 to play as Reese scored his layup as time expired to win it for New Berlin.
New Berlin will play South County tomorrow night at 8 p.m., while Lincolnwood plays Lutheran High at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
