The 2018 Pleasant Plains Cardinals are the 2A State Champions! After getting past the 2016 and 2017 champs in back to back matches, the Cardinals defeated Galena in straight sets, 25-18, 25-20 to capture the school’s first-ever volleyball state championship. It is also the first state championship for a girls sport at Pleasant Plains.
