The Senators scored early as Laith Abdullh put a goal home just four minutes into the game. The Pioneers evened the score ten minutes into the second half off a Nathan Clay goal. The game ended in dramatic fashion as Wolf Brethorst found the back of the net to give Springfield the 2-1 win as time expired. Springfield and U-High are now tied for first in the CS8 conference standings.
