Eight states in the U.S. have already implemented the shot clock into high school competition, and as the rule change picks up steam within IHSA member schools, it seems like only a matter of time before the shot clock is a fixture in Illinois hoops. We caught up with a few area coaches during summer league play to get a gauge on interest in the potential rule change as well as what problems may arise upon implementation of shot clock in every high school gym in the state.
