The Bullets started hot and ended hotter. Opening up the game with two runs in the bottom of the first, Williamsville took an early lead and didn’t look back against Sectional host Gillespie. Highlighted by an Emma Newton three run home run in the bottom of the 2nd, the Bullets battered the Miners all day, culminating in a seven run 4th that ultimately put this game away as Williamsville won 13-2.
Next up for Williamsville is the Sectional Championship Saturday morning at 11 a.m. as they await the winner of Tri-City and Alton Marquette Thursday.
