Several area jumpers gave themselves a chance to win state titles on Friday at the 2A Lincoln sectional track meet that was held at Memorial Stadium. Southeast’s David Emuze tied for first in long jump with a distance of 21-7 1/4 in his third and final attempt. Lanphier’s tandem of A’Jonte Lee and Karl Wright both paced the high jumpers at 6-3.
Troy Triad won the sectional. Lanphier finished second and Southeast finished fourth. You can see a full list of qualifiers HERE.
